THE Sunshine Coast is well known as one of the state's tourism hot spots, but what factors are set to impact the industry as we look forward to 2032?

That's the answer being presented at the Sunshine Coast Daily's Future Tourism event on October 8.

The Daily has commissioned leading demographer Bernard Salt to investigate what trends are set to disrupt and change the industry over the next 15 years.

Along with Bernard, there are five other high-profile speakers sharing their knowledge on the industry.

First on the list is executive chairman of News Corp Australasia Michael Miller, CEO of Virgin Australia Paul Scurrah, GM of Tourism Australia Phillipa Harrison, Director General of State Tourism Damien Walker and Sunshine Coast Airport CEO Andrew Brodie.
